MoodleMoot Global 2025 — Theme & Campaign

MoodleMoot Global is Moodle’s annuaI flagship event. I led the marketing strategy and global campaign for the event, developing the theme “Learning to Shape Tomorrow.” By crafting messaging, coordinating the program, and guiding the Global Events Manager, we strengthened community engagement and created a campaign that started to reposition Moodle as a thought leader in our space.

I directed the rebrand from MoodleMoot Global to MIX (Moodle Ideas Exchange), defining the brand’s direction and overseeing the announcement rollout. The refreshed identity positions MIX as forward-looking and people-driven, resonating with educators and learners worldwide while maintaining continuity for the existing community.

When I joined the team at Moodle, the tech stack was holding us back from scaling effectively. I led the Hubspot rollout and implemented lead scoring. This modernized our tech stack, streamlined marketing processes, and created a system for more measurable lead management — setting the team up for long-term efficiency and growth.

Marketing Team Restructure & Performance

I restructured the global marketing team, aligning roles, clarifying responsibilities, and introducing performance-focused processes. The team’s work has resulted in a 29% year-over-year increase in MQLs, stronger collaboration, and better alignment between marketing and sales.
